I will be on vacation next week so there will be no new posts unless I can get a connection.  Most of the places I will be are fairly rural.  We are also working on a new look for our blog that I think most will like.  More on this later.

Iran's Hizbollah says ready to attack US

Iran's Hizbollah says ready to attack US

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran's Hizbollah, which claims links to the Lebanese group of the same name, said on Tuesday it stood ready to attack Israeli and U.S. interests worldwide.

"We have 2,000 volunteers who have registered since last year," said Iranian Hizbollah's spokesman Mojtaba Bigdeli, speaking by telephone from the central seminary city of Qom.

"They have been trained and they can become fully armed. We are ready to dispatch them to every corner of the world to jeopardise Israel and America's interests. We are only waiting for the Supreme Leader's green light to take action. If America wants to ignite World War Three ... we welcome it," he said.

Iranian religious organisations have made great public show of recruiting volunteers for "martyrdom-seeking operations" in recent years, usually threatening U.S. interests in case of any attack against the Islamic Republic's nuclear programme.

Iran's Hizbollah (Party of God) says it is spiritually bound to Shi'ite Muslim guerrillas in Lebanon but its command structure and funding are unclear.

They have attacked the US before.  They are the ones associated with killing over 200 US marines with a truck bomb.  Iran seems to want this to happen but as of yet there are not many Islamic states behind them.

Arab world fed up with Hizbullah

By KHALED ABU TOAMEH

With the exception of the Palestinians, the Arab world appears to be united in blaming Iran and Syria for the fighting in Lebanon. Until last week, Arab political analysts and government officials were reluctant to criticize Hizbullah in public. But now that Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah and his top aides are in hiding, an anti-Hizbullah coalition is emerging not only in Lebanon, but in several other Arab countries as well.

Hizbullah and their supporters were hoping that the massive Israeli military operation in Lebanon would trigger large-scale protests throughout the Arab world, creating instability and threatening to bring down some of the Arab regimes.

But the response on the Arab street has been so disappointing for Hizbullah that its leaders are now openly talking about an Arab "conspiracy" to liquidate the Shi'ite organization. The few Hizbullah supporters in Ramallah, the Gaza Strip and some Arab capitals have therefore been directing most of their criticism against the Arab presidents and monarchs, accusing them of serving the interests of the US and Israel.

A Third World War

More Here . . .  A Third World War

by Newt Gingrich

Like him or not hear is a good post by Gingrich.  He really does connect the dots.

As I talked about yesterday on NBC's "Meet the Press," I am now firmly convinced that the world confronts a situation that is frighteningly similar to a Third World War, one every bit as serious and dangerous as the two great conflicts of the 20th Century.

The recent attacks by Hamas and Hezbollah against Israel -- with the active political, financial and military support of Iran and Syria -- are just the latest acts in this war. It is a war that pits civilization and the rule of law against the dictatorships of Iran and Syria and the terrorist groups of Hezbollah and Hamas that they support. It is also a war that pits civilized nations against Islamic terrorist groups around the world, including, most significantly (but not exclusively), the al Qaeda network.

Report: Israel gives Syria ultimatum

Report: Israel gives Syria ultimatum

London-based Arabic language newspaper Al-Hayat says Israel gave Syria 72 hours to stop Hizbullah’s activity, bring about release of kidnapped IDF troops. ‘Israel will not end military activity until new situation created that will prevent Syria, Iran from using terror organizations to threaten its security,’ newspaper quotes Pentagon official as saying

According to the source, Hizbullah made the same mistake as Hamas when it did not predict the ramifications of its actions and ignored the regional and international changes since the fall of Saddam Hussein.

The source said that Israel has indicated that it “will not end its military activity until a new situation is created that will prevent Syria and Iran from using terror organizations, such as Hamas and Hizbullah, to threaten its security.”

Watch the alignment of Russia and Iran with other nations against Israel.  This could be setting up Ezekiel’s prophecy in chapters 36-39.

Scientists debate blending of human, animal forms

Oldies but goodie - repost of older blog

Scientists debate blending of human, animal forms

Pigs with human blood is only one example of the real experiments happening today. Scientists are not just pushing the envelope they are crossing the line. These types of cross engineering will bring some advancement to the medical world but they will also cause harm. Ultimately, we could end up with hybrid humans that are not truly human at all. One wonders if such a person with spliced DNA is redeemable.

Parent sues district

Oldie but goody - Posted on previous blog

Parent sues district on Darwin-only rule

WorldNetDaily: Parent sues district on Darwin-only rule is another example that displays the outright bigotry of some school districts in America. They not only want just one side told to the students but they do not want any scientific evidence that critiques their theory. That narrow view is not scientific, open or tolerant in any stretch of the imagination. I write this because these are the labels they usually stick on those of us who believe in creationism.

BTW, here is more evidence that throws off the timeline and theory of evolution. A Fossil found in China shows a baby dinosaur in a mammal's belly. Evolutionists did not believe that large mammals existed during the time of the dinosaurs. Evolutionists teach that mankind and dinosaurs DID NOT live at the same time.

However, burial stones discovered in Peru were recently reported on Fox News Network's "Fox Report" with Shepherd Smith show they did. Government archaeologists have found thousands of these stones which seem to depict dinosaurs. These prehistoric stones indicate that ancient man had direct contact with dinosaurs. There is strong evidence that men and dinosaurs existed at the same time. The photo below shows a man riding a Triceratops and smoking a peace pipe!

Also, Answers in Genesis is a great website dedicated to giving reasons for creationism.

It is World War III, and U.S. is out of ideas

It's WWIII, and U.S. is out of ideas

Journalist Michael Goodwin

Last week's headlines prove the point: North Korea fires missiles, Iran talks of nukes again, Iraq carnage continues, Israel invades Gaza, England observes one-year anniversary of subway bombing. And, oh, yes, the feds stop a plot to blow up tunnels under the Hudson River.

World War III has begun.

It's not perfectly clear when it started. Perhaps it was after the Berlin Wall fell and the Cold War ended. Perhaps it was the first bombing of the World Trade Center, in 1993.

What is clear is that this war has a long fuse and, while we are not in the full-scale combat phase that marked World Wars I and II, we seem to be heading there. The expanding hostilities mean it's time to give this conflict a name, one that focuses the mind and clarifies the big picture.

The war on terror, or the war of terror, has tentacles that reach much of the globe.

It is a world war.

People are starting to see clearly now that the world is on a collision course with itself.  This is not a clash between superpowers as in the sixties.  This is a clash between East and West, between North and South, between ideals and philosophies.  There is no solution easy or difficult.  Give it some time but the world will welcome a leader.  They will ask for a world leader.

New Blog Format

We have moved to a new Blog format due to technical difficulties with the old blog server.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  The old server was great while it lasted but other content at the website forced us to move our blog.  We could not filter out the other content any longer.  It turned out to be a technical nightmare.  We will try this new format for a while and receive input from the readers.

It is updated with news and radio links however we do have advertising as well.  Unfortunately, we do not control the advertising.  So far it seems conservative and responsible.  Let everyone know about the new location and that we are back online.

Systematic Theology One

Order here.

The Systematic Theology One project is complete. After teaching Bible Doctrines for the past seventeen years we have volume one edited and on CD. Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley in Belen, NM had such a demand for the class after I taught it that they put it on CD.

They took almost 26 hours of Systematic Theology one and edited them down to 19 hours on fifteen audio CDs. This first series covers the doctrines of the Bible, Angels and the Church. Here are some of the topics covered:

  • Are the Apocryphal books inspired?

  • How does the Book of Mormon compare to the Bible?

  • How unique is the Bible?

  • How accurate is the Bible? (Morally, Historically, Scientifically & Theologically)

  • Do you know the five proofs the Bible offers that it is inspired?

  • What types of ministries to angels have?

  • What abilities do demons have in this world?

  • Why should we practice baptism and communion?

  • We are also placing these same studies on two MP3 CDs with the syllabus, notes, and homework. You can actually hold a complete class from these two CDs.  Order here.

Ga. Top Court Reinstates Gay Marriage Ban

    Ga. Top Court

This is good news.  How often do we see the courts uphold a conservative or biblical measure?

    By SHANNON McCAFFREY
    Associated Press Writer

    ATLANTA

The state Supreme Court reinstated Georgia's constitutional ban on gay marriage Thursday, just hours after New York's highest court upheld that state's gay-marriage ban.

The Georgia Supreme Court, reversing a lower court judge's ruling, decided unanimously that the ban did not violate the state's single- subject rule for ballot measures. Superior Court Judge Constance Russell of Fulton County had ruled that it did.

Seventy-six percent of Georgia voters approved the ban when it was on the ballot in 2004.
